About This Animation Meme

This is the "Don't Bite Sprunki" animation meme, a creative piece of fan work set to the popular song "Bite" by artist Troye Sivan. It's more than just a video; it's a project that represents a creator getting back into the swing of things.

Meet the Creator & The Character

The entire project—both the code and the art—was crafted by @OmbraTheFurry2. The animation stars the character named ブラッド. The visual backdrop for the scene was sourced from Google, showcasing how creators often combine original art with available resources.

A Message from the Animator

The creator begins by acknowledging a period of inactivity. They explain that they had used up their stockpile of finished projects and needed time to work on new ones. While they have several Scratch projects ongoing, they've been focusing more on "non-scratch content recently out of ambition."

They are optimistic, noting that once they find time for Scratch again, projects won't take long to finish, promising a return "in no time." This update is likely a signal to their followers that they are still active in the community.

The Story Behind the Animation

This particular animation has an interesting history. It's described as "considerably old" and was stuck dormant in the creator's files, hardly unfinished for a long time. Instead of leaving it unused, the creator decided to finish it by cutting corners from the original, grander plan to finally share it with the world.

Despite its age and potentially simpler final form, the creator is happy with the result, stating: "I don't mind how it came out/how old it is since I still like how it looks." This highlights the personal satisfaction of completing and sharing creative work, even if it doesn't match an initial, more complex vision.

What is an Animation Meme?

For those unfamiliar, an "animation meme" is a trend within art and fan communities where animators create their own short videos or animations synced to a specific song or audio clip. It's a way for artists to showcase their style, interpret music visually, and participate in a shared, collaborative trend with other creators online.
