Dash - Demo Platformer v0.3: A Sneak Peek at Momentum-Based Action

This is a demo version of "Dash," a platformer in active development that emphasizes high-speed, fluid movement. The core gameplay revolves around using a powerful dash ability as your main tool for traversing levels, navigating obstacles, and building momentum in a style reminiscent of popular 3D platformers.

Current State & Known Issues

As a v0.3 demo, players should be aware of potential bugs. Current known issues include enemy collision that may not always work as intended and a mechanic where rapidly spamming the jump button can allow charactersto climb walls. If you experience a large number of glitches, the developer recommends trying a full restart of the game twice. An alternative TurboWarp link is available, though it may run with more lag.

Development Vision & Community Support

Future Plans: The roadmap for the full version promises additional levels, a fully fleshed-out menu system, and fixes for most existing bugs.
Passion Project: Created primarily by a solo developer with music and conceptual feedback from a family member. The collision system received assistance from a fellow community member.
Community Driven: The developer openly shares that getting recognition is challenging. They sincerely request that if players enjoy the demo, a like or favorite goes a long way in motivating further hard work on the project.

This demo serves as a promising prototype for players who enjoy movement-focused platformers and want to follow a game's development journey from an early stage.
