GD Wave 1.0 is a meticulously crafted, standalone experience born from a passion for the intense wave game mode in Geometry Dash. This project, which took over two months to complete, is a testament to fan dedication.

Credits & Original Creation

All honors for the original game concept belong to RobTop. While inspired by the aesthetics of legendary levels like Kocmoc and Tidal Wave, every single piece of art was drawn manually by the creator within the Scratch editor. The soundtrack is a powerful blend, including a custom Stereo Madness remix, a Sleeping Hummingbird remix by ∆XIUS LIИK, and Shiawase VIP by Dion Timmer.

Gameplay & Features

This game zeroes in on pure wave mechanics. Control is intuitive yet demanding: hold any key or mouse button to move UP, and release to move DOWN. Master this to weave through narrow gaps. Version 1.0 launches with three distinct challenge levels: Easy, Hard, and Impossible mode, allowing both newcomers and veterans to test their skills. A previously reported world record bug has been resolved.

Future Updates & Community

The developer has plans for a version 1.1 update, which would introduce backgrounds and potentially new visual effects. This update is promised upon reaching a community milestone of 50 likes for the game. Keen-eyed players might also find a hidden Morse code message within the project.
