-lava- a Platformer: A Simple, Challenging Avoidance Game

-lava- a platformer delivers a pure and challenging gameplay loop: navigate using Arrow Keys or WASD and, above all else, avoid touching the lava! This simple rule creates tense and precise platforming moments. The adrenaline is amplified by the driving soundtrack, F-777's "Viking Arena," also featured in Geometry Dash Meltdown.

Community-Driven Development & Transparency

This project thrives on player feedback. The developer openly notes that performance can be variable and potentially laggy, and actively requests players to report any bugs, glitches, or lag in the comments section. This collaborative approach has helped shape the game through updates that have added more levels and fixed a majority of earlier issues, though a slight chance of glitches remains in the very first level.

Replayability and Evolving Challenge

Beyond the immediate challenge, "-lava-" offers lasting appeal through a monthly rotating high score. Can you surpass the current record (e.g., 38)? This feature encourages repeated play and competition. The game's popularity is reflected in its community stats, marking it as a recognized and enjoyed creation within its platform.

If you enjoy games with a clear objective, responsive (if occasionally demanding) controls, and a direct line to the developer, "-lava- a platformer" provides a satisfying test of your platforming finesse and patience.
