Incredibox Sprunki Modded V3: Background Noise That Actually Has Personality
Alright, confession time: sometimes I just need SOMETHING in the background while I'm supposed to be working. Not music exactly, not silence... just, y'know, pleasant blooping. Enter this modded V3 thing. What's this game about? Basically you click colorful characters and they make sounds. That's it. That's the whole thing.
The inside jokes about "The Incident" (don't ask) get referenced constantly. I don't even know what The Incident IS but I feel like I should. This feels like what an AI would make after listening to 1000 hours of elevator music. But like, good elevator music. Fancy hotel elevator music.
I've given nicknames to characters. Green blob is "Gerald." Don't ask why. There's a specific sound that exists in every Sprunki mod. The "blip" sound. It's here too. Of course it is. My foot is tapping along involuntarily. It has its own opinions.
So if you're just looking for some simple fun during a work break or whatever, this could work. The goal? Make something that makes YOU smile. Doesn't have to be good, just has to be yours. Extra challenge: only use three icons. See what you can do with just the basics.
The community has its own slang. "Phase-pilled" "Sprunk-pilled" etc. I don't get it but I want to. There's a specific type of person who only plays Phase 3 and thinks everything else is trash. Not me though, I'll play anything once.
Writing about digital blobs so much the words lose meaning. Click. Drag. Bloop. Beep. What even IS sound anyway? My fingers are cold from the air conditioning but I can't stop clicking.
Couple things I wonder about: What was the original inspiration for these character designs? How has the game evolved over time from the early versions to mods like this?

Perfect for pretending you're creating something important. Even if it's just beeps and boops.
