Incredibox Sprunki Phase 7 Remastered: When Old Gets New Sounds
So I've played regular Phase 7 before, obviously. Everyone has. It's like a right of passage. But this "remastered" version? That's new. I was hanging out with friends looking for something dumb to do (you know, that "let's make funny noises" mood) and someone pulled this up.
#65 The Sprunki Discord has arguments about which Phase is "canon." It's all fake, people. But seriously, people get WEIRD about which versions are "real" Sprunki. This remastered one would probably start fights.
#72 There are inside jokes I don't understand because I joined the community "late" (last month). Phase 7 has some history, I think? Like there's drama? I don't know, I just like clicking icons.
#79 Someone tried to make a competitive Sprunki scene. It lasted 2 weeks. Can you imagine? Tournaments for making the best beep-boop combinations. Honestly, I'd watch that.
#86 The community finds bugs and treats them as features. "It's not a glitch, it's a secret sound!" That's probably how half the "remastered" features got added.
Here's my challenge to you: try making something using only 3 icons. Like, pick any 3 from Phase 7 Remastered and see what you can do. It's harder than it sounds! Makes you actually think about the sounds instead of just mashing everything.
We were trying to out-do each other - who could make the weirdest combination that still kind of worked? It's a good party game if your friends are as easily amused as mine are.

Random questions that came up while we were playing: Is there a public gallery where people share their creations? Like, do people actually save and show off their Sprunki mixes? Also, are there regular community challenges? That would be cool. And how long does it take to develop one of these remastered versions anyway? Like, is someone spending months on this? Or just a weekend?
The remastered part is mostly better sounds, I think? Cleaner? Or maybe it's just psychological. But it feels nicer. The colors might be slightly different too. Or maybe my monitor settings are off.
