Resentment AU: A Deeply Emotional Sprunki Alternate Universe Story

Resentment AU is a narrative-driven Alternate Universe creation for Sprunki, crafted by NyankoBfLol. It moves away from traditional music-mixing gameplay to tell an emotional story set to the poignant track "Kanako" (Undertale Yellow OST 073). This AU explores heavy themes of friendship, love, societal prejudice, and regret, and contains themes that may be sensitive to some players.

The story centers on two characters, Skye and Tunner. They evolve from best friends into a happy romantic couple. However, their bond attracts negative attention from a crowd that bullies Skye, targeting her kindness and her relationship. The relentless harassment shatters Skye's spirit. In her pain, she mistakenly blames the innocent Tunner, leading to a heated argument. Realizing her error but feeling the damage is done, Skye makes the tragic decision to run away and cut all ties, leaving Tunner stunned and heartbroken.

In the aftermath, Tunner continues his role as the town sheriff, but he is haunted by the loss and consumed by guilt. The narrative ends with his silent, enduring wish to see his beloved Skye again and apologize for everything, highlighting themes of unresolved conflict and lasting emotional impact. This AU adds significant depth and backstory to the Sprunki universe, focusing entirely on character-driven drama.

For fans interested in more narrative-driven experiences, you might also explore sprunki story or sprunki lore v4. The emotional depth here connects to themes seen in sprunki but they re sad about nyankobflol s condition and traumatized sprunki.
