Sprunki Banana Porridge Phase 3: When Clicking Turns into... Something
Okay so I was just messing around with this one because, well, the name. Banana Porridge? Phase 3? What even is that combination. But here's the thing - if you're just looking for something dumb to do with friends when you're bored, this actually works.
I judge character designs by how much they look like they have backstory. This one looks sad. Like genuinely melancholy. Why is the banana porridge character so blue? Literally and emotionally.
The challenge I gave myself was trying to make it sound like actual rain. You know, that pitter-patter sound? Yeah, failed miserably. Ended up with something closer to a robot chewing aluminum foil. But the process of dragging the little icons around, trying different orders - that's where the fun is. It's less about making "good music" and more about... what even is this?
If a loading icon was a composer, this would be its symphony. That spinning circle that taunts you when a page is taking too long? Imagine if it had a soundtrack. This is pretty close.
What's the average play session length? Honestly like 10-15 minutes before you either get something cool or give up. Are there Easter eggs or hidden content? Probably? I clicked everything and nothing special happened but who knows.
My eyes are watering from staring at bright colors on a dark screen. The contrast is... intense. Yellow blobs on black background. Not exactly ergonomic design.
This is what happens when digital noise becomes organized. Sort of. I mean, it's still noise but now it's noise with intention. Kind of.
How many active users does it have? No idea but probably more than you'd think. People love weird niche Sprunki mods.
Check out the original Sprunki Phase 3 if you want to see where this weirdness started. Or try the remake version for a slightly different vibe.
Anyway, Banana Porridge Phase 3 exists. It's a thing you can play. The icons make bloopy sounds. Sometimes they sync up in a way that's almost musical. Mostly they don't. Have fun?
