Sprunki Pyramixed 0.9 Update: Okay So Here We Go Again

Alright so you've played some Sprunki before, maybe the original Pyramixed or some Phase versions. This 0.9 update thingy... it's different. Not like, completely different, but enough that you'll notice. The drag-and-drop feels slightly off in this one. Like 2 pixels to the left. (#129) But once you get used to it, there's something here.

I've developed preferences for specific sound designers. This feels like... you know, that one person's work. (#45) You know who I mean if you've been around the community. The sounds have this specific texture to them.

Basic controls? Same old click and drag, but there's this one icon... if you drag it realllly slowly instead of just dropping it, the pitch changes. Nobody tells you this in any tutorial. It's like a hidden thing. I spent like 20 minutes trying to make a beat that didn't sound like a broken washing machine. Failed. (#1) But then I accidentally made something that kinda sounded like rain? Or maybe a leaky faucet? Anyway.

This is what helps with rhythm training honestly - you just keep trying random stuff until something clicks. Sounds like a robot reading a recipe out loud but as a song. (#274) But in a good way!

I've played so many mods that the original now sounds "wrong" to me. (#17) So this 0.9 update feels like it's trying to fix that? Like it knows what we want now.

Like the music that plays when you're customizing your avatar in 2008. (#398) That's the vibe. Retro but updated. Weird combo but it works.

If you're coming from other versions, check out the main Pyramixed update page to see what changed. Or if you want something really different, there's always Phase 4 Definitive which is cleaner but less... chaotic.

Anyway my fingers hurt from clicking. Try the slow-drag thing. Or don't. Whatever.
