Wednesday Catastrophe: Wenda's Wrath - A Story-Driven Sprunki Mod

Discover Wednesday Catastrophe: Wenda's Wrath, a narrative-focused Sprunki mod that reimagines the beloved music-mixing game with a dark, character-driven twist. This version centers on Wenda, portrayed here with a deep, obsessive love for Ink Cube that turns possessive and jealous, unlocking a special horror-themed gameplay mode.

Expansive Character Roster & Credits

The game features a wide array of uniquely defined characters, each with specified genders and musical roles, including:

Neo Cube (Male, Kickdrum)
Stone Cube (Female, Snare Drum)
Silver Cube & Iron Cube (Female, Ride Cymbal & Amen Break)
Ink Cube (Male, Bass) - The object of Wenda's desire.
TV (Male, Lyrics)
Crystal Cube & Ocean Cube (Female, Choir Voices)

Visual assets credit BFDI for the Ice Cube sprite, with additional thanks to Sprunki, Incredibox Banana, and @playr_120012.

Unlock the Secret Horror Mode

The defining feature is the unlockable Horror Mode, which reveals Wenda's sinister side. Activating it requires a precise sequence:

Place only the Wenda character on the stage. No other characters, especially not Ink Cube, can be present.
With only Wenda active, press the "2" key on your keyboard.

If done correctly, the game's atmosphere will shift dramatically. If it doesn't work, ensure the stage is clear and try clicking the green flag to reset before repeating the steps.

Gameplay & Creative Insights

Beyond its story, the game offers the standard, fun Sprunki experience of dragging and dropping sound icons onto characters to build mixes. As a fascinating extra for aspiring creators, the project description includes a basic PC tutorial on sourcing assets from itch.io and loading them into Scratch to start building your own Sprunki-inspired project. This mod is perfect for players who enjoy hidden content, lore exploration, and seeing familiar gameplay mechanics used for inventive storytelling.
