Friday Night Funkin B-side mod

Friday Night Funkin B-Side Mod: A Visual & Multiplayer Remix

Experience a vibrant reimagining of the rhythm battles with the Friday Night Funkin B-side mod. This project is a comprehensive visual and gameplay overhaul, born from dedicated community effort—starting with an intense initial 2.5 to 5.3 hour creation sprint and evolving through 11 hours of additional refinement.

Visual Overhaul & New Features

The mod\'s signature is its complete character recolor. Boyfriend, Girlfriend, and Pico all debut with redesigned hair and attire, set against a new dedicated versus battle background. The classic "Blue balls" mechanic has been removed.

Gameplay is enriched with a versus mode for local multiplayer. Press U to start a battle where Player 1 (using Pico) controls with WASD and Player 2 (using B-side Keith) uses the arrow keys. Prefer solo play? Press Y. The mod includes a custom health bar (by @Fantasy-Cheese), resettable with the 1 key. A variety of new music tracks are available to switch between.

Controls & Credits

Master the rhythm using a wide array of controls: arrow keys, WASD, P, T, G, H, Y, U, 1, 2, and L.

This mod is a stellar example of community collaboration. Primary thanks to @AwezomeXD for core coding, art, and the animated Boyfriend. Gratitude also extends to @flomongobits (Pico), @gToasty (animated Girlfriend), and @Fantasy-Cheese (health bar). Now in its V4 version, the B-side mod offers a fresh and feature-packed way to enjoy Friday Night Funkin\'.
