Evolution of a Game

The version log reads like a development diary, highlighting its rapid growth throughout May 2018. Starting with core levels, updates arrived frequently:

Level Expansion: Levels 2 through 10 were added in a series of updates from early to mid-May.
Critical Fixes (v1.2): Addressed major gameplay issues by reducing the impact of lag and eliminating a game-breaking upside-down glitch.
Feature Addition: The significant update on May 20th introduced Dual Mode, allowing for cooperative two-player gameplay.

This iterative process resulted in a polished and complete package.

Focused Gameplay & Related Projects

The entire game is designed around the robot mechanic, challenging players with precise jump timings and hazardous layouts. Its success led to a direct sequel, Geometry Dash Robot 2.
