Incredibox Sprunki Phase 3 Remade: Nostalgia With New Paint
Hey so I was just browsing around yesterday and found this "Remade" version of Phase 3. I've got to tell you about it because... well, it's Phase 3 but different? Same but different? You know how it is.
There's a 0.5 second delay between click and sound in this one. Just enough to be annoying at first, then you get used to it. My sleep schedule is permanently altered by "one more combo" syndrome, so finding this at bedtime was dangerous.
I've given nicknames to characters. Green blob is "Gerald." Don't ask why. In this remade version, Gerald sounds... cleaner? More polished? The animation for this character is 2 frames off sync. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. But maybe that's intentional? Artistic choice?
Sometimes I just let it play while doing dishes. My kitchen has never been cleaner. This remade version has that same hypnotic quality. Perfect for when you want to wind down before sleep but also want to feel like you're creating something.
I judge loading times. This one loaded fast. Points for that. The loading screen has a cute little sprite that waves. I like him. My neck has a permanent slight tilt to the right from my setup. Too many hours of this.
So if you're someone who likes making things (even if it's just arranging digital blobs) and you're looking for a creative challenge before bed, try this. Here's the twist: only use 3 icons. See what you can make with just three. It forces you to really think about arrangement and timing.
Phase 3 was already a classic, but this remade version feels like someone went back and fixed the bits that needed fixing. Or at least tried to. The community definitely has opinions about which Phase is "canon" - it's all fake, people! But this remade version is worth checking out if you want to revisit Phase 3 with fresh eyes (and ears).

The volume balance is weird in this remade version. Bass too loud, highs too quiet. Or maybe my headphones are dying. The color palette gives me a headache after 10 minutes. Too much neon? Or not enough coffee?
Anyway, if you're looking for a creative puzzle before bed and want to test your arrangement skills with limited options, this Phase 3 Remade is a solid choice. It's familiar enough to be comforting but different enough to be interesting. Just don't blame me if you stay up until 3AM trying to make the perfect 3-icon composition.
