FNF - Vs Matt: The Browser-Based Rhythm Showdown

Experience one of Friday Night Funkin's most iconic mods, Vs Matt

Enhanced Gameplay & Customization

This version stands out with several player-friendly toggles and features that let you control the challenge:

Ghost Tapping: Turn on/off. When on, missing a note resets your combo.

Visual & Audio Tweaks: Switch to circular arrows for a different look and enable Osu!-style hit sound ticks.

Character Swap: Change your Boyfriend character to alter the player's visual style.

Ongoing Development: The creator plans to add more toggles designed to increase difficulty.

Key Updates & Polish

The mod has received consistent updates focusing on stability and gameplay feel. Significant improvements include replacing the 'Death Match' mode with a standard HP drain system, implementing a more accurate accuracy percentage counter, and re-adding the essential calibration track for syncing audio. Later fixes addressed song duplication bugs and added full compatibility with tricky 'death notes' to ensure all inputs register correctly.

How to Play & Modding

Jump into the Classic mode. The core gameplay is straightforward, akin to Dance Dance Revolution: press the ASKL or Arrow keys when the moving arrows overlap the stationary ones. Keep your rhythm to survive. Controls are fully re-bindable in the options menu. This browser port is based on version v26v1C of the engine. For creators interested in the modding scene, the original FNF Song Converter guide provides valuable resources. Note: The creator mentions the project may be unoptimized.
