osu CS GO Mod: A Counter-Strike Themed Rhythm Challenge

Experience the classic circle-clicking gameplay of osu! through the tactical lens of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with this unique visual modification. The osu CS GO Mod applies a fresh coat of paint to the original game created by Dean Herbert, tweaking the aesthetics to evoke the iconic FPS while keeping the precise rhythm mechanics intact.

Enhanced Visuals & Gameplay Tip

The primary change is a visual reskin designed to mirror the CS:GO interface style. For the smoothest and most responsive experience, it is strongly advised to play this mod using an external player set to 60 FPS, rather than the standard Scratch environment.

Classic Osu! Gameplay

The core gameplay remains unchanged. Click circles with your mouse or default Z/X keys as their borders shrink onto the center. Follow and hold sliders, and spin your mouse rapidly for spinners. The mod includes a diverse set of 13 community-made beatmaps, featuring tracks like “The Big Black,” “Inferno,” and “Astronaut in the Ocean.”

Scoring & Features

Performance is graded from S (above 95% accuracy) down to D (70% or below). The game tracks local high scores, which reset weekly. This project serves as a fun, thematic twist for fans of both osu! and Counter-Strike, offering a familiar challenge in a new visual context.
