ADOFAI Riya-Polygons decor update
Riya-Polygons Decor: For When You Only Have 15 Minutes to Go Fast
Okay so I'm a speedrunner. Not like, world-record level, but I like going fast. Optimizing routes, shaving off milliseconds, that whole thing. And I've got 15 minutes between... I dunno, Zoom calls or whatever. Perfect for a quick ADOFAI break.
Found this "Riya-Polygons decor update". Sounds like someone updated their level with more polygons. More geometry. More... stuff. As a speedrunner, my goal isn't just to clear levels anymore. It's to improve accuracy and consistency. Because going fast without precision is just... failing quickly.
I'm in explorer mode now. Charting unknown territory. This level feels like a collaboration or something? Or maybe just one person's vision updated over time. The polygon decorations are actually pretty intricate. Lots of little details to notice.
It's funny how well you can memorize a level when you speedrun it. Like, I can now critique the song's mixing based on where the tap points are. "The bass drop should align with this spin better" or whatever. That's normal, right?
You know about the ADOFAI Iceberg? That chart that shows all the community secrets? Bottom layers have lost media, mythical maps, creator drama... the deep lore stuff. Wonder if this polygon level is mentioned somewhere in there.
The "no mods, vanilla, first try" flex. That's what separates the gods from us mortals. Meanwhile I'm over here using every visual aid I can find. No shame. Okay maybe a little shame.
Gotta appreciate when creators thank their testers by name. Saw that in a level description once. Wholesome community moments among all the suffering.
And background effects... man. They're either crucial rhythm cues or distractions placed by a cruel god. No in-between. This polygon level has a lot of background stuff. Can't tell if it's helping or hurting.
So questions while exploring: What actually MAKES ADOFAI unique in the rhythm game genre anyway? Like, there's a million rhythm games. Why this one? And what are the psychological benefits, if any? Like, is it actually good for your brain or are we just torturing ourselves? Also, are there audio options for hearing-impaired players? That's important. And how do I adjust settings for optimal performance? My computer sometimes lags and it ruins my speedruns.
Riya-Polygons Decor Update is good speedrun practice. The polygon decorations make it visually interesting without being too distracting (mostly). Good for 15-minute accuracy training sessions. Just enough time to get into the flow without losing your whole day.
Back to... whatever I was supposed to be doing. Probably something less fun.
