closed 50 raffle

Archived: Closed 50 Follower Raffle Event

This page commemorates the "closed 50 raffle," a past community gratitude event hosted by a Scratch creator. The raffle was launched to celebrate reaching 50 followers and officially concluded for entries on December 20th, 2023. It now stands as a transparent record of the participants, rules, and outcomes.

Event Overview & Rules

The creator designed this raffle to thank their growing community. Strict rules were enforced to ensure fairness:

No cheating – all ticket claims were verified.
No guilt-tripping or negative behavior from winners or losers.
Entrants were required to provide a specific codeword ("What's your favorite color?").
Participation required a comment formatted as: Username / Codeword / Ticket Count / How Tickets Were Earned / Questions.

How Tickets Were Earned

The community could earn raffle tickets through several supportive actions:

Like & Favorite: 1 ticket.
Follow the Creator: 1 ticket (existing followers also qualified).
Create Fan Art: 3 tickets for a character headshot/bust, 4 tickets for a full-body drawing, and 5 tickets for a reference sheet or detailed scene. Character designs were available for reference at: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/925400966/.

Prize Structure

The raffle featured a tiered prize system of custom digital artwork:

1st Prize: 5 custom drawings + 3 full-body artworks.
2nd Prize: 2 custom drawings + 1 full-body artwork.
3rd Prize: Winner's choice of either 2 custom drawings OR 2 full-body artworks.

The lengthy participant list displayed on the page documents everyone who joined this community-driven event. While entries are closed, this archive offers insight into how creative communities on platforms like Scratch engage and reward their members.
