FNF - Vs Matt Wiik 4 Remastered
FNF - Vs Matt Wiik 4 Remastered: The Enhanced Mod Experience
This is a refined and expanded version of the original Friday Night Funkin' mod, developed by a team including Robomaster, Snuffow, ExpKing, and many others. It retains the classic, addictive gameplay described as "basically like DDR, press arrow when arrow over other arrow" while introducing significant quality-of-life improvements and customization.
New Features & Customization
Players can now tailor their experience with several useful toggles: Ghost Tapping (forgiving missed notes), Circle Arrows visual style, osu!-style hit tick sounds, and the ability to swap between different Boyfriend characters. The developers also plan to add more difficulty-increasing toggles in the future.
Substantial Updates & Polish
An extensive update log from January to May 2022 shows committed development. Key fixes include resolving character loading issues, improving combo reset logic with Ghost Tapping on, implementing a more accurate accuracy counter, re-adding a calibration track, fixing song duplication bugs, and adding compatibility for "death note" mechanics. The default controls are WASD or Arrow Keys, fully configurable in the options menu.
For Modders and Players
Built upon the original engine by cabalex, this remaster is a robust version of the mod. Aspiring creators are directed to the official FNF Song Converter Guide for modding resources. This project stands as a comprehensive, community-polished version ideal for both seasoned FNF players and newcomers looking for a deep, customizable rhythm game challenge.
