Galaxy Collapse at bottom Osu Mania V3 remix
Galaxy Collapse osu!mania V3 Remix: Browser-Based Rhythm Challenge
Dive into the intense rhythm of “Galaxy Collapse” with this dedicated osu!mania V3 remix, fully playable within your web browser via the Scratch platform. This project delivers the complete beatmap experience, though note that background visuals and audio are not loaded; the map itself functions perfectly and can be found at the bottom of the in-game song list. For optimal, high-frame-rate performance, it is highly recommended to play on TurboWarp or forkphorus.
Gameplay & Controls
Master the four-key layout using the default controls: D, F, J, and K correspond to each column, with P serving as an instant quit key. All keybindings are fully customizable in the game’s settings. Achieve high scores by pressing the correct key precisely as the note hits the receptor line. For hold notes, press and hold for the duration, releasing at the tail end.
Customization & Advanced Features
This project stands out for its deep customization suite. Navigate to the Options menu from the main screen to tweak controls, visuals, and other settings. A list of 16 specific color codes is included for personalizing the note skin, ranging from dark orange to royal blue.
More impressively, comprehensive guides are provided for adding your own content. Advanced users can import their own 4K osu!mania beatmaps by processing the .osu file and updating the project’s lists and assets, following a detailed eight-step process. You can also create or import custom skins by editing the sprite graphics, with specific instructions for preparing receptor images.
Credit for the original project concept goes to OliBomby and the unknown beatmap mapper. This is a fantastic tool for practicing specific maps or experimenting with game creation in a browser-based rhythm game format.
