Osu Mania But BETTER

Osu Mania But BETTER: The Ultimate Customizable Experience

Osu Mania But BETTER elevates the browser-based osu!mania experience with superior customization and flexibility, designed for players who want more control.

Core Gameplay & Controls

Engage in the precise 4-key rhythm action using the D, F, J, and K keys to hit descending notes. Hold notes with extensions for combo, and press P to instantly quit a map. All key binds are fully remappable to your preference.

Import Your Own Beatmaps

This version shines with its deep custom content support. You can import your own 4K osu!mania beatmaps through a detailed process:

Remix the project and prepare your beatmap's .osu file.
Convert the file content by adding "/n" at the end of each line (tools like pinetools.com can help).
Import the text, then add the matching audio and background files.
Create a song button with the exact "Title//Version" outfit name.

Complete Skin Customization

Fully redesign the game's look. Import assets from any osu! skin, ensuring receptor images are cropped to 176 pixels from the bottom. To add multiple skins, create new sprites named in the "(skin name)-(sprite name)" format and edit the "Option Note Skin" sprite to integrate them. Osu Mania But BETTER transforms from a game into a personalized rhythm gaming platform.
