Osu Mania V3 but i changed it a little bit: A Customized Scratch Rhythm Experience

Experience a personalized version of the classic osu!mania rhythm game, meticulously rebuilt and optimized within the Scratch environment by developer @OliBomby. This adaptation stays true to the original gameplay created by Dean “Peppy” Herbert while incorporating custom tweaks tailored for a smoother user experience.

Custom Content & Optimized Performance

The game features a curated selection of beatmaps from various community mappers, a custom (though unfinished) note skin, and unique audio tracks, including “circles!” by nekodex on the title screen and “Synesthesia” by a_hisa on the results screen. For optimal, lag-free performance, it is highly recommended to play using external players like Turbowarp or Forkphorus, which support higher and more stable frame rates.

Gameplay & Controls

Gameplay follows the standard osu!mania format: press the A, S, K, and L keys as the notes descend to their respective receptors. Hold the key for long, sustained notes. All key bindings can be changed in the options menu, and you can press Q to instantly quit any map.

Development & Future Plans

This project is an ongoing personalization effort. Completed changes include adding the developer’s own beatmaps and redesigning the finish/death screens. The roadmap indicates future work will focus on fully implementing a complete custom skin, including note appearances, interface buttons, and letter/number fonts to perfectly match the creator’s preferred osu!mania setup.
