Osu Mania V4 v4

Osu Mania V4 v4: Your Personal Scratch-Built Rhythm Machine

Attention all content creators wanting to show off finger speed on stream, or players simply looking for a place for a focused 2-hour finger training session! Osu Mania V4 v4 might be the osu!mania simulator on the Scratch platform you’ve been searching for.

The developer is honest, saying the game is “I just took his game and put my little twist to it.” But don’t underestimate this “little twist”—it brings a powerful core: deep customization. The game provides comprehensive guides on how to add your own osu! mania beatmaps and skins. From converting .osu files to editing sprites to change note appearance, even directly importing osu! skin assets, it almost turns you into the admin of your own game version. It feels like buying your third mechanical keyboard just to try out new switches—not out of necessity, but for the joy of creation.

Controls & Optimization:

Default controls are D F - J K, with (P) to quit the map. All keys can be changed in options.
The core timing is: press the corresponding column key when the falling note exactly hits the receptor at the bottom. Notes with extensions need to be held until they end.
For the best experience, it is highly recommended to play via the links provided to forkphorus.github.io or turbowarp.org for better smoothness.
The game even lists color codes for skin colors, like 25500 for dark orange and 2232550 for lime green, letting you fine-tune the visuals with hardware-tweaking precision.

From tinkering with community-modified hardware to deeply customizing a rhythm game within Scratch, the essence of fun might be similar. This game might not directly teach you what AR (Approach Rate) is, but it can tangibly train your finger speed and rhythm sense—that’s the essence of cross-training.
