ADOFAI Worlds 1-12 But... You Can't See? And DOTS?
Okay so I'm between meetings, got like 15 minutes to kill, and I see this thing: "worlds 1-12 but you're blinded and dots". What does that even MEAN? Like, you're blindfolded? The screen is black? There's dots? I have QUESTIONS.
As someone who sometimes works on collab projects with other creators (we made this one level that was... okay it was bad but we tried), I'm always interested in weird experimental stuff. This definitely qualifies. It's like someone took the normal worlds and said "what if we made it IMPOSSIBLE to see properly?"
My goal here? Learn to read patterns better. Like, actually understand what's happening geometrically instead of just mashing buttons. This... might not be the best way to do that. But hey, challenge accepted?

Sorry, hype-man mode. But seriously, after like 12 tries, I finally got through the first world. With dots. While "blinded". Whatever that means. LET'S GOOOOOO!!!
You know what's funny about checkpoints? They're like... metaphors. The path doesn't change. The level is the same. But YOU change. Your ability to walk it improves. Until you get to the next impossible section and die again.
This whole game feels like a shared hallucination sometimes. Like, thousands of us are all seeing the same shapes, hearing the same beats, suffering the same failures. Weird communal experience.
And it's literally a conversation with past you. Like, "remember when this was impossible? Now it's just... hard." Progress, I guess?
There's a moment when the track stops being your enemy and starts being... a partner? Like, you're dancing together instead of fighting. That's when you know you're getting good. Or going insane. One of those.
Muscle memory is TERRIFYING though. I can literally play entire levels in my head. Like, just close my eyes and my fingers twitch through the patterns. Without music. Without visuals. Just... memory. That's not normal, right?
Random thoughts while blinded: What WILL community creations look like in the future? Like, are we gonna have full-on movies made in ADOFAI? Also what file formats does the editor even support? Can I export my levels to... I dunno, other programs? And how do you install mods without breaking everything? And does sleep actually help gameplay or is that a myth?
This blinded dots thing is... an experience. If you want to test your pattern reading skills in the worst possible conditions during a short break, this is it. Just don't blame me when you're still trying to figure out what the dots mean an hour later.
