Osu Mania V1

Osu Mania V1: The Ultimate Customizable 4-Key Rhythm Experience

Experience the rhythm with Osu Mania V1, a feature-rich adaptation of the popular key-based mode from osu! that puts customization at the forefront. Master 4-key gameplay using the default D, F, J, K controls to hit notes as they align with the receptors; hold down keys for extended sliders and release at their conclusion for perfect accuracy. A quick press of the P key allows for instant map exit.

Deep Customization and Personalization

What truly sets this version apart is its deep customization suite. You can personalize the visual experience by choosing from 16 distinct skin colors using provided hex codes, ranging from dark orange (#25500) to lighter green (#203354).

Build Your Own Beatmap Library

Beyond aesthetics, Osu Mania V1 empowers you to build your own song library. The game includes a comprehensive system for importing your existing 4K osu! mania beatmaps. By following the detailed guide, you can extract the .osu file from the official osu! editor, format it for compatibility (tools like PineTools can help), and import it into the game's "Map Master" sprite. You'll also need to add the corresponding audio file and background image, and create a song select button with a specific "Title//Version" naming format.

Complete Skin Creation and Import

For advanced users, the game supports full skin customization. You can edit existing note sprites or import assets directly from osu! skins, with specific instructions provided for preparing receptor images (cut to 176px height from the bottom). Adding entirely new skins is possible by creating new sprites following a "(skin name)-(sprite name)" convention and updating the options menu. This level of control makes Osu Mania V1 not just a game, but a platform for creating your perfect rhythm gaming environment.
