Gameplay & Controls

Test your timing by pressing the keys D, F, J, K to hit notes as they descend onto their corresponding columns. Aim for a perfect hit as the circle aligns with the receptor for the best score. For hold notes, press and hold the key for the duration of the long bar, releasing at the end. Need to bail out of a map? Simply press the Spacebar to exit instantly. All key binds are fully customizable in the options to match your personal preference.

Deep Customization & Personalization

This game shines with its extensive customization features, making it more than just a player.

Visual Customization: A provided color code guide (e.g., 25500=dark orange, 2551910=yellow-orange) allows you to tailor the game's aesthetics.
Import Your Own Beatmaps: The standout feature is the ability to import your own 4K osu! mania beatmaps. Follow the detailed 8-step guide: extract the .osu file from the official osu! editor, format it correctly (using tools like pinetools.com), and import it via the 'Map Master' sprite. You'll also add the matching song and background files.
Create Custom Skins: Modify the look and feel by editing the game sprites. You can import standard osu! skin assets directly. Special instructions are given for receptor images, which need to be cropped to 176 pixels in height. To add new skin options, create new sprite sets and enable them in the “Option Note Skin” menu.

Whether you're looking to play challenging rhythm maps or unleash your creativity by building your own, Osu Mania V3 offers a powerful and flexible platform entirely for free online.
