osu mania v4 v7: A Customizable Browser-Based Rhythm Game

osu mania v4 v7 delivers the precise, key-based challenge of osu!mania to your browser, built on the Scratch platform. This version focuses on providing a authentic gameplay core while offering powerful tools for players to integrate their own music and styles.

Authentic osu!mania Gameplay

Test your rhythm and reflexes as you hit descending notes across four lanes. The default control scheme uses the D, F, J, and K keys, which can be changed to any preference. Press the keys in perfect sync with the falling notes to achieve high scores, and remember to hold for sustained notes. Use the P key for an instant exit from any song.

Personalize Your Playfield

Adjust the game’s aesthetics easily. Use the built-in color option with provided codes—such as 24517665 for rose pink or 191970 for greenish cyan—to change the note colors. For a complete visual overhaul, you can edit the game sprites directly or import assets from existing osu! skins, following the guideline to crop receptor images to a 176-pixel height from the bottom.

Import Your Personal Song Library

The standout feature is the ability to play your own collection of osu! 4K mania beatmaps. A comprehensive guide details the process: extract the `.osu` file from an osu! beatmap folder, format its contents by adding `/n` to each line (using websites like pinetools.com), and import the code into the ‘Map Master’ sprite. After adding the corresponding audio and background files, your custom charts are ready to play.

osu mania v4 v7 is an excellent choice for rhythm game players who want a flexible, browser-accessible version of osu!mania that can be tailored to host their personal favorite tracks and customized visuals.
