osu READ DESC: A Faithful Tribute with Enhanced Controls

osu READ DESC is a browser-based homage to the legendary rhythm game created by Dean “peppy” Herbert. This version captures the core circle-clicking excitement while introducing key improvements for accessibility and playability.

Key Features & The Tablet Update

The recent “TABLET UPDATE” addresses major pain points. It fixes previous glitches for users playing with a drawing tablet, offering a seamless experience for purists. Furthermore, it introduces keyboard controls, allowing you to hit circles using either the ‘Z’ or ‘X’ keys as an alternative to mouse clicking.

Improved Game Flow & Future Content

This update also smooths out your session by fixing a bug that prevented playing multiple songs in a row. The developer has outlined a promising roadmap, including plans to implement background music looping on the main screen and the potential for more song additions in the future.

By blending respect for the original osu! gameplay with practical quality-of-life fixes, osu READ DESC provides an engaging and accessible way to test your rhythm and precision online.
