COWS Extra Worlds WIP: Because Even Cows Need Rhythm Sometimes
So I was BURNT OUT. Like, proper done with rhythm games. Played too much everything, fingers hurt, brain fried. But I still wanted to stream something. So I'm live, people in chat, and I find this "COWS Extra Worlds WIP" thing. WIP means work in progress, I guess? And cows? Sure why not.
As someone recovering from burnout, I'm not looking for the hardest challenge. I'm looking for stuff that matches my... vibe. My aesthetic. Cow aesthetic apparently. Who knew?

Chat is hyping me up, telling me I can do it, being supportive. Makes failing less painful. Community vibes, you know?
But dude. Failing at 99.9% because you BLINKED? The specific rage of that? Unmatched. Like, you're so close, everything is perfect, and then... blink. Miss. Rage.
Finishing a level with like 20 misses feels so empty though. "Yay I did it" but also "wow I actually sucked at that". False victory. The real challenge is going back and doing it clean. Which I probably won't because burnout.
Beginner's luck is the worst. You try a new level once, clear it somehow, and then think "oh this is easy". Sets you up for failure when you try again and realize it was pure luck. Expectations destroyed.
My right hand is doing all the work while my left hand just... sits there. Jealous. Like, "hey I can help too!" But no, rhythm game says one key only. Sorry left hand.
We need an ADOFAI to English dictionary. "Fun" = actually brutal. "Chill" = deceptively hard. "Short" = concentrated pain. Don't trust the labels.
So questions while we're hyped: How does ADOFAI's skill ceiling compare to other rhythm games anyway? Higher? Lower? Weirder? And how do you actually manage frustration when you're stuck? Like, tilt prevention strategies? Also how does the game handle audio quality? Compression and stuff? And what if it doesn't recognize my controller? Asking for a friend who may have thrown one once.
COWS Extra Worlds WIP is... interesting. It's clearly not finished, but that's part of the charm. The cow theme is silly, the patterns are experimental, and streaming it with chat support makes it fun even when you're failing. Perfect for coming back from burnout without too much pressure.
