ADOFAI test1 fire ice and custom but you can actually play it with ANY input v2
Test1 v2: Your Controller Is Not Safe
Okay, listen up class. Today's lesson is: breaking the one sacred rule of ADOFAI. You know the rule. "One key." It's the whole thing. But what if... you didn't have to? What if you could use your whole dang controller? Your dance pad? A steering wheel? (Okay maybe not a steering wheel, but you get the idea). This mod, "test1 v2," is that experiment. It's for the flow seeker who wants to use the game like a weird meditation tool, but also for the marathon grinder who wants to finally clear something using their favorite comfy gamepad.
The goal here is pure experimentation. You're not trying to FC some monster map. You're trying to see if you can make the planets dance by mashing all the buttons on your Xbox controller in rhythm. Spoiler: it's harder than it sounds, but way more fun.
When you start seeing geometric patterns and potential "tap points" in everyday objects.
With this mod, you'll start seeing input points on your controller. "Hmm, the A button feels right for that spin..."
The "wheelchair" meme: referring to mods that simplify visuals to make ultra-hard maps approachable.
This is the opposite of a wheelchair mod. This is giving yourself MORE limbs to worry about. It's a complexity mod, not a simplicity one. Madness.
The "ADOFAI to English" dictionary: "Fun" = Brutal, "Chill" = Deceptively Hard, "Short" = Concentrated Pain.
This mod's description should read: "Any Input" = "Chaotic Joy Mixed With Utter Confusion."
Let's break it down simply. You know how the game usually shows you if you hit perfectly or just barely? The Tile Accuracy vs Tile Hit display? With multiple inputs, that display goes nuts. It's trying to track which of your 12 button presses was the "right" one. It's hilarious.
People talk about difficulty walls in the community. The first wall in THIS version is figuring out which button you mapped to "hit." The second wall is remembering it. The third wall is actually hitting it on time. It's a whole new set of walls!
So, got a weird controller collecting dust? Want to try ADOFAI but hate using the spacebar? This is your playground. The link's below. It's free, it's online, and it's probably broken in the most wonderful way. Go experiment. Report back which button felt best. (My money's on the right trigger.)
