Fifteen minutes. That's all you have between spreadsheet hell or study purgatory. You need something that grabs you, shakes the brain dust off, and drops you back in the real world feeling... something. If you're the type who gets lost in the aesthetics, the clean lines and hypnotic spins of ADOFAI, then v7 is your visual caffeine hit.
This version? It's for the archivists. The ones who want to record a clean run, not just for clout, but as proof. Proof that for three minutes and twenty-seven seconds, you were in sync with the geometric universe. I'm talking like a poet here because that's what it feels like sometimes—an emotional journey written in right angles and BPM.
Compared to other games' feedback systems... man. Most games give you a pat on the back for trying. ADOFAI gives you a binary pass/fail that feels like a judgment on your soul. The first comment from a stranger who enjoyed your map is a high no drug can match, but in v7, maybe the tools to make those maps are a little smoother. The iterative process of creation: make a draft, test it, hate it, tweak it, test it, hate it less... that loop is the real game for some of us.

What are the boundaries of what can be created? Further than last version, I'd bet. And the long-term vision for ADOFAI? Probably to keep us all trapped in this beautiful, frustrating loop forever. And we'll thank them for it.
v7 isn't a revolution. It's an evolution. A slightly better-tuned instrument for our self-inflicted rhythmic torture. The planets are prisoners, we're the wardens, and the update log is just a memo from the prison architect. A very pretty memo.
