C4 - X 7 Beat Games: Because Regular Suffering Wasn't Enough
Okay so I'm competitive. Like, actually care about leaderboards. It's a problem. This "C4 - X 7 Beat Games" thing? Sounds like someone mashed together a bunch of rhythm game references. Which, honestly, kinda fits ADOFAI.
I'm in focused practice mode right now. Like, not just playing for fun. Actually targeting one specific section that keeps destroying me. Over and over. Until I get it or my brain melts.
Goal? Learn to actually read these geometric nightmares. Like, not just memorizing, but understanding what I'm seeing. So when new patterns show up, I'm not completely lost.
Hey buddy, you know that feeling when you're grinding a section and your focus just... drips away? Like, attempt 1: laser focus. Attempt 20: what was I even doing again? "Focus drip" is real and it hates us all.
That tension right before a hard part though... ugh. Your body knows it's coming. Everything tenses up. Millisecond of pure panic. Then you either nail it or die.
And the RELEASE when you get through? Oh man. All that tension just... gone. For like one millisecond. Then the next hard part starts.
But then the guilt hits. Like, I should be playing other games. Or doing... I dunno, productive things. But nope, "one more try" turns into 50 more tries. Player's guilt, my old friend.
Sometimes I think about the planets. They're just... prisoners. On this track forever. And we're the wardens, forcing them to keep moving. Kinda dark when you think about it.
Random community questions: Does ADOFAI even work with multiple monitors? Like, what if I want to play on one screen and watch a guide on another? And what are the classic beginner mistakes everyone makes? So I can... avoid them? Or at least know I'm not alone? Also, who are the famous ADOFAI streamers? I should probably watch them to... learn? Or just suffer vicariously? And what's the deal with Tile Accuracy vs Tile Hit modes? Which one should I use to look less bad?
This level is solid for focused practice. The patterns are complex but... readable? Eventually. Maybe. Good for competitive types who actually want to improve rather than just suffer. Though let's be real, suffering is part of the package.
Back to practice. One more try. Just one more. I swear.
