CC - X An Extra Challenge ADOFAI Fanmade Level
CC - X: That "Extra" Challenge That's Actually Just Pain
I'm at a coffee shop or something, right? It's loud. People talking, machines buzzing, general chaos. But I've got my headphones on, noise cancellation maxed out, and I'm trying to speedrun this "CC - X Extra Challenge" thing. Competitive brain activated.
Gotta hit that time threshold. Gotta be fast. Gotta be precise. The noise around me? Doesn't matter. Focus.
Hey buddy, let me tell you about this level. It's one of those fanmade "extra challenge" things that sounds fun but is actually just suffering. You know the type. We all do.
So get this - I've played this level so many times that I can literally critique the song's MIXING based on where the tap points are. Like, "the kick drum is too quiet here, that's why I keep missing that spin". That's not normal. That's obsession.
You know how every infamous monster map has its own little support group? Like, people who are stuck on the same thing gathering to share coping strategies? "Yeah I cried three times today trying to beat this section." "Have you tried tapping with your other hand?" That kind of thing.
The communal trauma around maps like One Snowy Night or Freedom Dive or The Big Black... it's real. We all know those names. We all shudder a little when we hear them. This CC - X thing might join that list. Or maybe it's already on someone's list and I just don't know it yet.
And you know what separates the gods from us mortals? The "no mods, vanilla, first try" flex. Someone beats a hard level first try, no assists, no practice mod, just raw skill. Meanwhile I'm over here on attempt #47 using every assist I can find. Humbling.
Random questions while waiting for my coffee: Does ADOFAI even work with multiple monitors? Like, if I have two screens, does it matter which one it's on? And what ARE the most common mistakes beginners make? Like, besides "playing ADOFAI in the first place"? And are there actually famous streamers who mostly play this game? Like, ADOFAI specialists?
This CC - X challenge is... challenging. Shocker, I know. If you're competitive and want to test your speedrun skills in less-than-ideal conditions, it's a good pick. Just don't expect to beat it quickly. Or at all. But hey, that's what the victim support group is for, right?
See you in the trauma circle. I'll bring the coffee.
