Plum R 리메이크
Plum R Remake: Because the Original Wasn't Confusing Enough?
Okay so I need... accommodations. Like, color stuff is hard for me sometimes. And flashing things? Yeah no. So I use mods. Visual aids, high contrast, all that. Makes the game actually playable for me. This "Plum R remake" thing caught my eye because... well, it's a remake. Maybe they fixed some of the visual issues?
Also I play with this weird arcade button setup sometimes. Not a dance pad, but close. Makes it feel more... physical? Anyway, this level seems like it might work with that.
My goal? No-Fail run. On the hardest chart I can find. Because why make things easy, right? Might as well suffer in style.
Let me share some wisdom, young padawan. The flow state in this game... it's not about perfection. It's about acceptance. You become the rhythm, and the rhythm becomes you. Or something like that. I'm still working on the catchphrases.
You know what's weird? After a long ADOFAI session, everything feels... rhythmic. Walking down the hall? Tap tap tap. Typing? Tap tap tap. Brushing teeth? You guessed it - tap tap tap. Your brain just gets stuck in that mode.
And here's a paradox: sometimes you play better when you're recording. Like, you put pressure on yourself to perform, and suddenly you're hitting stuff you normally miss. Makes no sense but it happens.
...I already said the rhythmic carryover thing, didn't I? Well it's true twice I guess. Everything. Feels. Rhythmic.
And when you're making levels (which I do sometimes), that feeling when you create a section that just... works? That feels right to play? That's the good stuff. Better than actually clearing hard levels sometimes.
Questions while we're being philosophical: How has ADOFAI actually influenced other games? Like, do developers see this and think "oh we should make a one-key rhythm game too"? And do all those visual mods I use actually affect performance? Like, do they make the game slower or something? And what are the actual physical demands of playing at high level? Like, are pro players just... built different?
This remake is interesting. Feels like they tried to address some of the visual confusion from the original. Still challenging, but maybe more... readable? For people like me anyway. Good for No-Fail attempts if you're into that kind of self-torture.
May the rhythm be with you. Or whatever.
