Amosu: A Browser-Based Rhythm Game & Map Creator

Step into the world of circle-clicking rhythm games with Amosu, a free online experience created by JeNaRoX_2 in 2021. This browser game captures the essence of classic music gaming, offering straightforward play and creative tools.

Simple Gameplay with a Performance Note

The core rule is easy to grasp: press Z or X to hit the circles at the precise moment the approaching ring perfectly overlaps the inner circle. This tests your timing and accuracy. An important technical note: as with many web-based rhythm games, audio may desync from the visuals depending on your computer’s performance, so results can vary.

Built for Players and Creators

Amosu’s standout feature is its integrated map-making tutorial. Designed to be intuitive, it guides users through the process of creating their own custom beatmaps directly within the game environment. This makes it a great sandbox for aspiring rhythm game designers. Remember, the codes and instructions provided are meant for Remixing the project to create new content, not for use in comment sections. While playfully acknowledging its inspiration, Amosu stands as its own accessible platform for enjoying and designing rhythm game content for free online.
