osu v3

Yo, check this out! Just found this osu v3 game and it’s the pure clicky-circle goodness.

Seriously, if you just saw some insane clip and downloaded the game (or, you know, found this web version), this is where you start. osu v3 on Gosprunki is that classic experience right in your browser. No fuss. Your first mission is to just find and play maps with favorite songs/artists and get into the groove. Heck, use it as a warm-up before a tournament match if you want!

The rules are simple, the way they should be: Click on the circles with the rhythm of the music! More specifically, you need to click when the approach circle touches the circles! See that outer ring shrinking? That’s your timer. Bam. That’s the whole game. Well, that and trying not to get finger locking on high BPM bursts later on.

A neat little tip from the game: Press ‘Space’ to show/hide the “Volume” option. Super handy if you want to, I dunno, play a quick round with the sound muted and just focus on the visual rhythm? It’s a weird challenge, but it’s there!

Sounds of the struggle and triumph:
The “tablet vs mouse” debate that has caused more forum arguments than actual gameplay issues.
When your keyboard starts double-tapping or chattering, and you enter a week of troubleshooting hell.
The community’s collective knowledge about obscure driver settings and Windows optimizations.
Building a portable osu! setup for travel/lANs. The dedication to never miss a day of practice.

It’s funny, playing this makes you think about all the gear talk later – the hunt for the best osu tablet, the right osu mouse, the perfect osu keyboard. But here? None of that matters. It’s just you, the circles, and the beat. It’s perfect.

New players always ask things like:

Why is my cursor movement choppy?
Why do some maps give more pp than others?
