ADOFAI Custom - Bloodshed V2 Small Flash Warning
DUDE. OKAY. BLOODSHED V2. LET'S TALK.
So you're just chillin', maybe wanting to vibe with some cool patterns and a banger tune. You start a gaming marathon session with a simple goal: just figure out what this "ADOFAI" thing is about in like, five minutes. And then you load "Bloodshed V2." And the title has a FLASH WARNING. You have been warned. This is not a drill.
This level. THIS LEVEL. It's the perfect, most terrible example of why you don't just use ADOFAI as background stimulation. It DEMANDS your full, screaming attention. The moment a visual "impact" lines up with a musical downbeat perfectly, you will feel it in your bones. It’s that hype. It’s also the moment you realize the track itself seems to dance. Not just a path, but a performer. A very angry, flashy performer.
I’m a casual player mostly, but this... this makes me gush like a fanboy. The synchronization is NUTS. But it comes at a cost. You know that feeling of the "sensory overload" shutdown after a particularly flashy and difficult level? Yeah, Bloodshed V2 is the textbook definition. It’s also a prime example of the "visual noise" problem: when cool effects make it impossible to see the dang path. But somehow, it’s intentional? And don’t get me started on the "destructive" track where parts seem to break away or shatter as you pass. It’s pure audio-visual violence in the best way. And it absolutely creates the most disorienting but satisfying soundscape you can imagine. Controlled chaos achieved.
Playing this raises so many questions, mostly screamed into the void. But seriously: How long did ADOFAI take to develop? Because the fact that the engine can handle THIS without melting is a miracle. How can I collaborate with others on level creation? I can’t imagine one person alone made this; it feels like a group hallucination. And, How does the community handle difficulty classification? This is probably classified as “Very Hard” but should honestly be its own category: “Sensory Assault.”
Look, if you’re new, maybe don’t start here. But if you want to understand the sheer, unbridled creativity and madness that the ADOFAI Workshop can produce, if you want to see a level that feels less like a game and more like an experience, then you have to try Bloodshed V2. It’s free, it’s here, it’s insane. Just... maybe don’t play it in a dark room. Or do. I’m not your mom. But heed the flash warning. Seriously.
That part where the kick drum hits as the screen fractures? I FELT THAT IN MY SOUL. 10/10, would have my eyes blasted again.
