ADOFAI worlds 1-12 but i changed something
Worlds 1-12... But Wait, What?
Okay so you're new. First time seeing this game. You play the normal version, it's hard but makes sense. Then you find THIS. "Worlds 1-12 but i changed something." The title is a lie, probably. They changed more than "something." They changed... everything? Or just one tiny thing that ruins your muscle memory? It's a mystery. A warm-up that turns into a detective case.
You use it to wake up your brain before other games, but instead you're just sitting there going "wait, wasn't this spin the other way in the real game?" Or "why is this tile orange now?" It's deeply unsettling in the best way. You start analyzing not to get better, but to solve the puzzle. What did they DO?
Developing a "gamer's hunch" specific to ADOFAI: leaning intensely toward one point on the screen.
You'll do this here, but you'll be leaning for the wrong reasons. You're not trying to hit a note, you're trying to spot the difference.
The unintentional vocalizations: grunts, sighs, whispered curses, triumphant "YES!"es.
You'll grunt in confusion, not frustration. "Ugh, why is the BPM different here?" A whispered curse at the creator's audacity.
The "ear training" where you can identify BPM and time signatures just by feeling.
This map will break that training. Your "feel" is based on the original. This is a corrupted version. Your ears will lie to you.
Playing other rhythm games: "I have to watch 4 lanes at once!" Playing ADOFAI: "I have to watch THIS SINGLE POINT WITH MY ENTIRE SOUL."
In this version, you're watching that single point, but your brain is screaming that the memory is wrong. Your soul is conflicted.
It raises weird questions. Is ADOFAI on mobile? Yeah, but you're playing this weird browser version. Good luck. Can you save mid-level? In this hackjob? Probably not. Save states would ruin the mystery anyway. What's the stamina needed? Mental stamina. The stamina to not throw your hands up when you realize they swapped two tiles in world 7 just to mess with you.
The link is there. It's the whole game, but wrong. Play it like a detective. Play it to laugh. Play it to confuse yourself thoroughly. It's free, it's online, and it's definitely been changed. But what? That's for you to find out.
